1. The service

Tour by Cart Rome S.r.l.s. (VAT no. 18581251008), registered office at Via Tommaso Bernetti 31, 00168 Rome, operating address Via Galileo Galilei 76, 00185 Rome, organises and sells private sightseeing experiences in Rome by golf cart, by Vespa and tailor made. By booking, you accept the terms described on this page.

Every experience is a round-trip tourist itinerary, set in advance, that starts and ends at the same place. The electric vehicle and its driver are an instrumental part of that itinerary, included in the price of the experience and with no separate consideration. The service is therefore not a taxi, not a chauffeur service under Italian Law 21/1992 and not a transfer: we do not carry out point-to-point journeys to destinations chosen by participants, and we do not pick up passengers from the street. Travel is by prior booking only, recorded before departure and in the participants' names.

2. How booking works

Requests sent through the "Book online" form or via WhatsApp are booking requests, not confirmed bookings. Our team checks availability and replies via WhatsApp or email to confirm the date, time, and final price. You can pay by card when you book, or choose to settle on the day of the tour. The price is a single inclusive price covering the whole experience; it is paid to Tour by Cart Rome S.r.l.s. and never to the driver, who is not authorised to collect any payment on board or to change the agreed price.

3. Pricing

Prices are shown in euros (€) per group, up to the number of guests stated for each tour. Larger groups may incur an extra-guest surcharge, shown in the booking summary before you send your request.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour's start time, by writing to the email or phone number at the bottom of this page. For cancellations within 48 hours of the start time, please contact us — we review these on a case-by-case basis depending on the arrangements already made.

5. Changes or cancellations on our side

In case of adverse weather, vehicle issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, we may offer a new date/time or, if that's not possible, cancel the tour at no cost to you.

6. During the tour

Your driver takes care of the route, the timing and the stops, so you can enjoy the city without a thought: they bring you to the best viewpoints, give you time for photos and wait for you. Visits inside monuments, museums and archaeological areas are made independently, where scheduled, and are not included in the price.

The driver does not act as a licensed tourist guide under Italian Law 190/2023 and does not provide historical or artistic commentary. If you would like a licensed guide with you during the experience, write to us before booking and we will put you in touch with an authorised professional.

For your safety, please remain seated while the vehicle is moving, follow the driver's instructions and respect the maximum number of guests allowed for the vehicle you booked. Minors must be accompanied.

7. Liability

Tours take place on public roads in Rome. Cart and Go Rome follows applicable safety regulations; participation is subject to the usual care expected in an urban mobility setting.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Rome.
